When used with the Aqua-X Pro system, users can set the irrigation schedule to be controlled "By volume," and the DFM-3 will measure and allow the desired and precise amount of nutrient solution to be used. The DFM-3 sensor can also be used for future functions, such as the ability to sense water leaks and/or line blockages. = The DFM-3 is a 1.5" digital inline flow metre that provides accurate measurements of water or a nutrient solution flowing through a fluid pipe.
