BETA - 1 DAY/NIGHT REMOTE CONTROLLER

Any infrared (IR) remote-controlled air conditioner (AC), including mini-split AC systems, can be operated universally with the BETA-1. The Beta-1 can be used with almost any air conditioner or AC that includes an infrared or IR remote controller. The Beta-1 will provide your AC unit distinct Day and Night temperature settings after it is installed.

It is simple to install. Using the included remote control, the user only "teaches" the Beta-1 how to operate the air conditioner. The Beta-1 will automatically adjust the temperature settings on their AC unit to the user-selected settings once it has learned the IR remote signals.

The Beta-1 will instruct the AC to run at the temperature settings the user has chosen for the day and night. Based on the condition of the integrated photocell, the Beta-1 determines the appropriate temperature to run the air conditioner at. Additionally, the Beta-1 has a remote temperature sensor that can be placed at the plant canopy thanks to a 16-foot cable.

How it works: 

• The Beta-1 works by learning the unique digital “code” that is sent to the AC unit from the remote control.  
• You use the remote control that come with your AC unit to “teach” the Beta-1 those signals. Once the “learning” process is completed, the Beta-1 will send those digital signals to the AC unit AUTOMATICALLY to change the AC unit’s temperature setting.  
• The AC unit still operates as it does before, and it still monitors and controls its own temperature based on its own internal sensors. But now, the Beta-1 now provides user-adjustable automatic Day and Night temperature settings for your AC unit.
