A convenient and inexpensive way to regulate your fan is with the BETA-2. Select the fan speed and temperature setpoint you like, and the controller will automatically maintain that setting when the outside temperature drops below the setpoint. The controller will provide the fan 100% power when the temperature rises above the setpoint. The controller will turn off the fan when the temperature drops below the cut-off setpoint. The controller has an integrated photocell that senses day and night automatically and operates the fan in separate modes. It is possible to deploy a remote temperature sensor near to the plant canopy thanks to its 5m wire.
