Eco-Bb® is a biological insecticide based on the active ingredient Beauveria bassiana, a naturally occurring entomopathogenic fungus found in soils worldwide. This fungus targets harmful insects by adhering to their cuticle (outer skin) and secreting enzymes that break down the protective layer. Once the insect’s defense is compromised, the fungus invades its body, leading to the suppression and eventual death of the pest. Eco-Bb® is an effective and eco-friendly solution for pest management, offering a natural alternative to chemical insecticides.

This product is highly effective against a variety of agricultural pests, including whitefly, red spider mite, fall armyworm, and Tuta absoluta. These pests can cause significant damage to crops, but with Eco-Bb®, infestations can be suppressed before they lead to severe crop loss. Its action not only reduces pest populations but also minimizes the environmental impact, promoting a healthier, more sustainable farming practice.

Eco-Bb® is ideal for use in integrated pest management (IPM) systems, where it can be applied alongside other control measures. It is especially suited for organic farming and environmentally conscious growers who are looking to reduce their reliance on chemical treatments. By leveraging the natural power of Beauveria bassiana, growers can maintain healthier crops while supporting ecological balance.
