Slip Stream

One of the most recent feminised cannabis strains to be released is Slipstream, a mix between Compound Genetics flagship strain Jet Fuel Gelato and the notorious Animal Mints. If you are familiar with Compound Genetics' work, you will know that the resulting offspring produces some of the heaviest trichome production ever observed on a clone in their stable. Slipstream produces offspring with remarkable trichome coverage to match its incredible potency, which usually reaches the lofty regions of up to 30% THC along with a medium-sized yield.

The resultant offspring combines a rich cream and fuel-tinged petrol with some pronounced herby notes, expressing a variety of terpenes from both parents. The strong gelato funk dominates and muffles the slight flavour of gas. The Slipstream is best developed indoors, according to Compound Genetics, as Animal Mints can become stressed out in colder climates with higher UVD levels. The features of the growing stage are therefore unusual, and they will conclude between weeks 8 and 9 of flowering.
